Outbreaks of violence have rocked the Trail Stars once again, after a three month lull in the fighting. This time, colonists attacked a local Oorth commune in retaliation for past attacks on colonists by new Oorth groups moving into the sector.

The local Oorth communes and Sol Gov have denounced the violence, vowing further cooperation in preventing militants on both sides from escalating the situation. However, such efforts have yielded little progress in the past, as both Oorth and Sol communities have been known to harbor instigators.

Meanwhile, colonial groups have banded together for mutual protection, further isolating themselves from limited Sol military presence in the area. The Oorth communes in there have begun dismantling the much needed repair and fueling stations supplying travelers along the valuable trade route.
